I am running for the Utah House of Representatives because I believe deeply in service to my community and in the responsibility we have to be engaged in the civic process.
As a small business owner, I understand firsthand the challenges families and employers face every day—balancing budgets, meeting payroll, navigating regulations, and planning for the future. These experiences have shaped my belief that government should be fiscally responsible, efficient, and respectful of the people it serves. Sound business principles matter in the legislature, especially when it comes to stewarding taxpayer dollars and making thoughtful, long-term decisions.
My commitment to service is not new. I have had the privilege of serving on numerous local boards and committees. Those roles taught me the value of listening, collaborating, and finding practical solutions that work for our communities—not just in theory, but in real life. I also strongly believe decisions should be made as close to home as possible.
I am a firm believer in traditional Republican values: fiscal restraint, conservative governance, and defending local control. I believe strong families and vibrant communities are the foundation of a healthy state, and public policy should support—not undermine—them.
I am particularly motivated to work on improving healthcare affordability and access. Too many families and small businesses struggle under rising healthcare costs, and we must pursue responsible, innovative approaches that expand access while respecting individual choice.
Finally, I want to help promote local job growth and economic opportunity. When local businesses succeed, communities thrive. I will advocate for policies that encourage entrepreneurship, attract investment, and create jobs—without unnecessary government interference.
I am running because I care deeply about our community and believe I can bring practical experience, conservative principles, and a strong sense of civic duty to the Utah Legislature.
